Are you ready for a date with death ?
Finally after so many weeks of waiting for some sort of news about the release of Shadowlands, today at Gamescon 2020, we’ve been given a date. Get your swords sharpened and your armour repaired because we’ll be stepping into the Shadowlands on 27th October 2020 !
Another Global Release
Once again just like the release of Battle Of Azeroth, Blizzard are going to be doing a global release. Meaning no matter where you live you’ll be able to start your adventure with your friends from across the world.
The Global Launch Times are as follows:
- Americas (PDT): October 26th 4:00 PM
- Europe (CET): October 27th 12:00 AM
- Taiwan (CST): October 27th 7:00 AM
- Korea (KST): October 27th 8:00 AM
- ANZ (AEST): October 27th 10:00 AM
- (UTC): October 26th 11:00 PM
Shadowlands Pre-Patch is live on the PTR
Now that we have the official release date for the expansion, the next question is, when will the pre-patch be released with the scourge invasions ? The pre-patch has been on the PTR for nearly 2 weeks now, which is open to all players even if you don’t have an active subscription. I would recommend taking a look at it if you are interested in playing Shadowlands. The PTR also includes all of the current class changes however everything is subject to change so the more testing we do hopefully the better our classes will be. Another thing to be remembered is that the level cap has been decreased for the next expansion. Don’t be surprised when you load into your character and they turn out to be level 50. If I was to give one word of advice for when you step into the PTR, it is try and stay away from the cities. The scourge will try to end your life as they rampage through the streets, but if you think you’ve got what it takes to slaughter an undead army let us know how that goes.
First instalment of ‘Afterlives’ Short stories revealed with: Bastion
Along with the Release date, Blizzard also released its first animation of ‘Afterlives’ which showed Uther and the gave us a taste of what the covenant of Bastion might be like.
